IFMA accredited since 2005, the Hanze School of Facility Management offers four-year-programs Facility Management in Dutch and English, as full-time and as part-time programs. The programs are offered since more than two decades and are frequently actualized based on developments `in the field’.
`What do you want?’ This question is key within our school. Facility Management is about `What does the customer want?’; a people-oriented vision that starts at our school. The relationship between what is right for people and what is right for the organisation takes a central stage in Facility Management. Facility Managers determine the succes of this relationship, in a multicultural society of an increasing international context. Housing and technology play an increasing important role in the area of Facility Management. For this reason, our School focusses on managerial aspects and real estate management in the courses. We believe that this enhances the Facility Manager’s strategic contribution to an organisation as much as possible and enables to add value.
Students choose their own international path Hanze School of Facility Management allows students to decide on the branch of studies they take and the sector they wish to work in, without the need to decide immediately. Students set their own path during the course of their study. We provide a broad basis, complemented with in-depth knowledge of different Facility Management specialisms.
With many foreign students, we offer an international environment. Students can actively extend this environment by doing a minor at one of our international partner institutes and/or by doing a placement/internship abroad.
