Department of Environmental Control and Facility Management
The Department of Environmental Control and Facility Management of New York City College of Technology (City Tech) offers two degree programs: a bachelor of technology degree in facilities management and an associate in applied science degree in heating ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC&R). The Facilities program has been in existence since the 2000 spring semester.
The faculty and staff of the Environmental Control and Facility Management Department are dedicated to preparing our graduates for substantial and meaningful careers in all aspects of the facilities management and heating and air conditioning industry. We are here to teach to a student population that is here to learn. The staff are committed to being at the leading edge of the discipline and to providing a first class learning and teaching experience for all students.
