Pratt Master of Science in Facilities Management
A Master’s of Science degree is conferred upon the completion of 45 credits of coursework and a 5-credit demonstration of professional competency.
Mastering the Built Environment
The program is taught by practitioners with extensive industry experience in fields related to Facilities, Property and Real Estate Management, Architecture, and Business and Finance. Case studies, site visits, and internship opportunities expose students to a wide range of practical challenges in New York City. The evening program, with its convenient location on 14th Street, is ideal for people with busy full-time jobs.
Coursework is augmented with lectures by working professionals, tutorials, and field trips that give students a first-hand look at facilities and systems in action. Trips include telecommunications site visits, fire safety director tours and multistory building tours. Pratt’s Partners in Progress program provides guest lectures, internships, and vital networking opportunities with facilities managers of major corporations.
